Feeling like your family, friends and significant others are better off without you is a popular sign of depression. Nothing seems like it makes you smile anymore. Also, depression can make you unmotivated to do things that you love. Even though you might feel like this, it doesn't mean that you can't get out of this feeling.
If you are feeling at the top of the world and then at the bottom of the sea this might be a sign of Bipolar Disorder. Not only for a day, but for weeks or even months these highs and lows can happen. This can also come with a feeling of hopelessness and difficulty concentrating.
Anxiety is very common in all people, especially teens. This is the feeling of being worried about things that don't necessary need your attention. You may have moments where you feel tense or not being able to sit down. When the stress of everyday life feels as if it is beating down on you harder than you think it should reach out to a trusted adult.
Does eating food ever feel like a chore? This group of disorders involves a both physical and emotional behaviors about food. Feeling like this meal will make you not like how you look, not having a normal eating pattern and feeling guilt about eating too much or not enough can be a sign of an ED.
If your grades have dropped, if you are having a hard time driving between the lines, and having a hard time concentrating, you might need some sleep! These can all be signs of you not getting enough sleep. If you lack energy when you know you usually do have energy, and are forgetting where your phone and keys are these can be signs. Each person needs a certain amount of sleep per day in order to operate correctly for their daily tasks.
Signs of addiction are shown better when not using the drug. When you get high or drunk and afterwards feel changes in levels of energy and extreme mood changes this might mean that you are addicted. Also, being in aggressive denial saying that "I can go without this drug" shows that it has a control over you. Addiction can be very tricky just know that your family and friends just want the best for you!
